Dr. Williams grew up in a small town in northeastern Ohio (New Philadelphia, for those who are interested) and began her veterinary career as kennel help. She moved to Columbus, Ohio after high school, where she attended THE Ohio State University for the next 8 years (with a brief stint at the University of Leeds, UK, where she met her husband Richard). She received a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture in 2000 and her DVM in 2004, both from OSU. She and her husband moved to the Chicagoland area in 2004 and she has been with Hoffman Estates Animal Hospital since then.
They currently reside in Glen Ellyn with 2 cats, Melbourne Belfontaine and Tofu Lamar, and a crazy terrier mix, Sparky Joseph, who was rescued from Paws Chicago in 2004 after being returned several times. Her interests include opthalmology, dentistry and she is a member of AVMA and CVMA. In her spare time she and Richard bike, work in their newly expanded garden, and support OSU football (Go Bucks!) and Cleveland Indians baseball (don't laugh!).
